Fall Back

So about the time change...I have decided that I am a huge fan of Fall Back. I am not a huge fan of Spring Forward. However I am a huge fan of it being light, later.....but I am also a huge fan of not feeling like you are getting up in the middle of night in order to go to work.

I am a huge fan of Fall Back for several reasons. First, my body does not feel like it got run over by a truck for several days when we fall back (in contrast to how it feels when I spring forward). Second, when falling back, I gain sleep rather than losing it. I am a huge fan of this particular aspect. Especially considering that the time change is always on a Saturday night and you can always use an extra hour of sleep for Sunday. Third, my body notices very few if any real changes in my daily schedule. And the ones it does notice are positive. For example, if I have to be honest, it is a teeny weeny bit easier to get up in the morning. And at night when I realize that it is dark at 6pm....I think, "wow, it is already dark", and yet I still don't feel like I got run over by a truck.

I am a little sad to see the later sunsets go, but I had noticed them getting earlier and earlier anyway, so I was prepared for that. Also, earlier darkness does make it feel more like Christmas. And I am a huge fan of Christmas.

You're hilarious. I feel the same way. I don't like it being dark at 5:30 when I get off work but it took no adjustment this time and when we spring forward I feel it for months.
