Whew...this time of year can be such a whirlwind. Last night was the final performance (of 10) of our church's Christmas program. It is such a pleasure to be involved, but I won't deny that I am delighted that it is finished for this year. I have thought a lot about how I don't want to come screeching around the corner into Christmas Day. I want to have time to enjoy our decorations at home, to enjoy spending time with Jason, and to truly enjoy the Christmas season. So that is my goal...it is going okay so far, although I will feel a lot better once those last few presents are procured:o)
Remember to slow down....prioritize....leave out the unimportant stuff....dwell often on what Jesus has done for us....
and rest.
