Today was a very fun day! Nathanael celebrated his first Halloween as Nathanaelson...the new Karate Kid. We dressed him in an all white outfit that he was given as a baby gift. I then took one of his little caps and drew the same pattern that was on Daniel Larusso's head garb in the Karate Kid movies. I also drew a picture of the bonsai pattern from the back of Daniel's gi and taped it to the back of Nate's little shirt. Here is the finished product...the cutest karate kid ever.

And here is Nate with his sweet cousin Aubrey. He has always been a huge fan of her and these pictures show a little glimpse of it!

We also carved our first family pumpkin and my first pumpkin ever!...Thanks to Clay and Cassie for getting us a pumpkin in the first place! We thought we would be able to find one today and that proved to be very difficult. We will know better next year!

Jason took the top off, I scooped out the guts and then Jason made a lovely picture.

We had fun carving pumpkins at Nick and Sarah's house. The above picture shows our little nephew Sean and Ellie (Clay and Cassie's little girl) We had to leave early to get Nate to bed on time...so Jason finished the pumpkin at home.

We had several trick-or-treaters come to our door. It was fun to see the little costumes and sweet faces. Jason also had some very powerful tracts that we passed out. We pray that the truth of the Gospel will take root in the hearts of some of those sweet children and their families.

This is amazing. All of it! I LOVE Nate's costume! And I especially love the pumpkin carving. What a great idea...I think we may have to "steal" that for next year. I thought about making little tags that say "Jesus Loves You" and passing them out with the candy....we'll see how much time I have when Isaac is 2!?
You three prove to be wonderful, as usual!
Your son is the cutest thing EVER!!!! AND what a GREAT pumpkin!! LOVE it!!
